The lovely people at Drybags sent us some gear to try out last year; however, with the Covid situation, we did not get out to try until October when the iPhone holder and the bum bag had their inaugural visit to beautiful Devon.

Overboard Waterproof Phone Pouch

The aqua coloured silicone phone bag worked as you would expect and was easy to use; I particularly liked the texture of the material, which was soft and malleable and secure to grip, making it quick and easy to insert or remove the phone from within. The Aqua colouring and attractive design make the bag easier to locate when in with your other possessions and equipment. Perhaps one of the other excellent features is the capacity to use underwater to take photos due to its IP68 rating.

To open or lock the unit, the tabs slide effortlessly to allow access, but when closed, give the assurance that the phone is safe inside the waterproof areas.

Full access to the screen is possible, allowing you to make/take calls, listen to your vibes or check the weather. Comes in small and large sizes, and two colours, aqua and black. You are supplied with an adjustable, comfortable neck lanyard and carabineer. Drybag advises you to attach a float to the phone bag using the carabineer.

Tested over a couple of paddleboarding sessions, this phone bag offered a perfect level of protection and access for my iPhone SE. The Slide Seal System is 100% waterproof.
