The team at Voited is constantly adapting its product line to meet the needs of the outdoor community, and it has certainly done so this time. Voited is known for its outdoor blankets, which have been around for a while and proved popular, and it has a range of change solutions.

A hammock is the perfect product to compliment their blankets on adventures, so getting hold of one to test was excellent.

So, let’s take a look. First impressions are good, really neat, and tidy; this thing isn’t much bigger than a clenched fist and is easily held in one hand. The bag is part of the hammock and doubles up as a pocket for stashing snacks or a phone. The bag has two webbing straps and clips to secure it open or close and an aluminium hook to hang it up.

Inside, the hammock folds out, and two webbing straps can be found. The webbing straps feature a range of loops so you can easily fasten to the tree or other without having to tie any bits. Or you can forget the webbing straps and use the carabiners provided – no hassle to quickly set up and attach to a tree or an alternative source.

The hammock itself is ripstop, and the patterns are as vibrant as their blankets. The hammock is well-made and reinforced in the right places. It’s very well made. We sat three of us in it, and with a max load of 300lbs, we were nowhere near the weight limit, and it was plenty strong enough and comfortable to lie in.

Packing away is a breeze. The whole hammock stuffs into the built-in bag, which has plenty of space. Simply roll the two tension straps up and pop them in. Also, roll the top and clip it securely, and you are ready to go.

The hammock is such a good size for adventures – barely larger than a can of beer – that it won’t take up any space.
