Decathlon gets behind the Big Paddle Cleanup 2025!
Decathlon, one of the world’s largest sporting goods retailers, are supporting the Big Paddle Cleanup campaign for 2025. The Paddle UK commercial partner fully supports paddlers’ excellent work keeping our waterways free of rubbish.
In 2024, 3,699 amazing volunteers collected 1,888 sacks of plastic waste and other junk from our precious waterways. With Decathlon’s support, we believe this year will be even bigger. Paddlers and volunteers across the UK will be taking action on their local waterways from 24 May 2025 to 8 June.

Paddlers are uniquely positioned to collect litter from places others cannot access. As a community, we have helped raise more public awareness about plastic pollution and the damage it causes to our blue spaces. Since the first Big Paddle Cleanup in 2022, our amazing volunteers have removed an estimated 14,000 single-use plastic bottles from rivers and canals.
