I’m a 25-year-old kayaker born and bred in North Wales. I grew up in a very active and outdoorsy family.

One of the benchmark skills that some SUP boaters consider to be crucial is height management.

As a canoeist, I find myself drawn to obscure bodies of water and enjoy the challenge of getting my canoe and me there.

“Do you want to paddle a tributary to the Nile?” No need for discussion; I simply said, “Yes, please!”
