Ray Goodwin’s Porcupine River (part one)

It was Paul Kirtley’s idea to paddle the Porcupine, recommended to him at the first Global Bushcraft Symposium.

One of the most common messages I get through my social media accounts is, “Can I come kayaking with you?”

I often get asked “What are your favourite UK rivers to paddle?” It is always a difficult one to answer!

In July 2023, I set out on an adventure on my fantasy bucket list: kayaking among ice giants in Greenland.
